On Friday November 14, Buck and I, along with the Webelos leader, Carrie Patten took Cub Scout pack 233 to visit our local Newspaper office. The boys had a great time learning about the different areas of the paper and the process of putting together a newspaper. They found that it is a lot more work than what it seems. They learned that there are several ways of communicating in our community and this was one of them. We were so excited to find out (note the sarcasm, just for me) that they would like to take our picture and put it in the paper. Well, in today's Post Independent on page A6, there we are! Buck was so excited and called to tell me that I need to go and pick up several papers. Not to brag, but that is twice that we have made the paper in our little community in the past 2 1/2 years of being here in New Castle, Colorado!!!
